Partnering with
Traditional Owners
Salubris works in partnership with Traditional Owners to develop carbon abatement and biodiversity projects on Unallocated Crown Land (UCL) and ex-pastoral leases. Salubris are responsible for the financial and technical aspects of the projects, while our Traditional Owner partners provide the experience, environmental knowledge, human resources and cultural authority. Together, we seek to create long-term generational wealth and secure land ownership for more Traditional Owners.
Partnership approach
Our unique partnership model is the first of it’s kind. We are pursuing profit with purpose to return the rights to 5 million hectares of land to Western Australian Traditional Owners by the end of 2029.
- We share and exchange knowledge to support responsible environmental stewardship. Together with our partners, we combine traditional land management experience and techniques with best practice in environmental science.
- The genuine partnership supports higher-value environmental credit generation. We then split the economic reward 50/50.
- Traditional Owners can secure land ownership, backed by an economically sustainable operational model that supports enduring management of the land and environment.
