Our story

The name ‘Salubris’ comes from the Eucalyptus salubris of the Great Western Woodlands, a tree that has long been admired for its resilience and beauty in this harsh environment. The first Europeans named the tree after the Latin term for “healthful, wholesome and beneficial”. It encapsulates the attributes we bring as owners, developers and operators of environmental projects dedicated to restoring and enhancing natural ecosystems.

Inspired by the strength, resilience and multi-faceted nature of Western Australian flora, we’re partnering with Traditional Owners and local communities to ensure positive outcomes for many. Leveraging a unique partnership model, we are pursuing profit with purpose to empower Aboriginal communities, encourage an even greater connection to Country and produce higher value environmental credits.

2029 and beyond

Salubris aims to return rights to 5 million hectares of land to WA Traditional Owners by the end of 2029.

A milestone of deep significance for Aboriginal people across Western Australia, 2029 marks 200 years since the establishment of the Swan River Colony in Perth. We believe this date as a pivotal opportunity to inspire positive change and advance reconciliation.

Salubris acknowledges this milestone and aspires to play a part in driving societal change beyond 2029, encouraging broader collaboration to help drive tangible outcomes.
